The Hale Village Compact has now been launched at The Engine Room providing a range of career support activities for 14-18-year olds in the Hale Village and Ferry Lane areas. This is a truly unique initiative and is a partnership between Lee Valley Estates and The Engine Room.
The aim is to help young people in their future career paths introducing them to local employers and offering a range of participatory opportunities such as work placements, mentoring and skills training.
Michael Polledri, Founder of Lee Valley Estates, said “We are delighted to be working with The Engine Room team on this much needed programme for our young people, helping them to engage with the wider range of career opportunities that are emerging locally from the regeneration of the area.”
